~N~ MORE?? (older puppies/adults)

*******Sorry but we do not have any dogs that need to be rehomed at this time. ********

The reason we have more than just maltipoos is occasionally I will come across a family who is no longer able to care for their pet and may be forced to rehome it because of an upcoming move or pcs. (We live very close to an army base.)  So sometimes I will temporarily adopt an older puppy or adult dog and keep it as part of our family until we find just the right match.  I also sometimes will find a rescue situation where I feel up for a challenge that maybe with just a lot of patience and retraining can help rehabilitate a dog who may have otherwise been dumped at the pound or given away to the first person who shows up because their owner didn't want the responsibility of a dog anymore or couldn't financially provide for it properly.  I would never rehome a dog that i didn't trust 100% with my own kids and that is why I always make sure we bring them into our home first for a period of time so that I can give my honest opinion of any issues the dog may have.  We have had some very successful adoption stories come from these cases so I love being able to change a dog's life who may have otherwise been passed from home to home simply because they were misinformed of the true character of the dog. We feel that with a little retraining and some boundaries, most of what these dogs need is just someone who is willing to give them the right amount of attention and discipline and so we are very patient in finding just the right match so that everyone ends up happy.

I'm happy to say that Princess Tiana now has the perfect family for her! She lives in Chattanooga with Ms. Sue and her 3 furry family members, 2 maltese and 1 maltipoo. They bonded the first day together and Tiana is very happy and well taken care of!  I will miss that tiny baby but she is in the home she needs to be. :) Thank you Ms. Sue for providing such a great home for our sweet Tiana!

This was our latest happy ending from several years ago....CLIFFORD  found a wonderful family!! He bonded instantly with his new 3 yr old human friend and loved the tummy rubs from his new mommy, Jill. He is going to be very happy in his new home. We were sad to see him go but are so glad we could replace some sadness with happiness by allowing Clifford to go to them. They had recently lost their dog to cancer and little 3 yr old Madison didn't understand why her doggie was gone........her eyes lit up when we told her clifford was going to stay with them! It was priceless.  Below are some pictures of when he lived with us.
